Located in the small city of King, just north of Winston-Salem, NC, Moran Real Estate has been serving the Sokes and Forsyth COunty area since 1982. A 1973 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a 1981 graduate of the Babcock School of Management at Wake Forest University, Mike continues his real estate education annually through seminars and day-to-day experience.
Mike and Moran Real Estate joined the Winston-Salem Regional Association of Realtors and the Multiple Listing Service in 1982. Since that time he has served on the Board of Directors and on many WSRAR committees including political affairs, joint legislative, professional standards and RPAC. He also worked to develop the Association's Strategic Plan.
In 2006 Mike was named WSRAR's "RealtorR of the Year."
In 1996 Mike partnered with Jeff Robertson to form High Bridge Builders (Highbridgebuilders.com).
High Bridge Builders develops and markets residential neighborhoods in the Stokes County and northern Forstyth County areas.
It is this background in brokerage and development that Mike can draw upon when working with his real estate clients.
How do you succeed in this business?
You cannot be a success in real estate until you learn how to slow down, take a deep breath, and really listen to what your client is trying to say to you. You need to ask questions. This is what I do.
What's important?
I frequently volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and the King Chamber of Commerce. The greatest reward is to contribute to a noble cause, whether with sweat, time or money.
There are always ways to contribute.
